Celebrating ‘Yorkshire Day’ through icon design
I was tasked with illustrating four emojis for a Plusnet social media campaign celebrating Yorkshire Day. Inspired by the region’s proud heritage, the concepts explored four instantly recognisable Yorkshire icons: a Yorkshire Terrier, the white rose, a flat cap and a Yorkshire pudding.
The emojis were designed to be playful, distinctive and instantly recognisable, giving the campaign a strong visual identity while engaging Plusnet’s social media audience. The public response was positive, with the campaign deemed a success by Plusnet.
I completed this project during my role as Senior Designer at Karmarama, London.
